Description
George III style oak longcase clock. The square painted dial is signed “Winstanley Holywell” and features Roman numeral hour markers, an Arabic minute track, floral decoration in the spandrels, a subsidiary seconds dial, and a calendar aperture above the VI. The dark-stained oak case displays surface wear and a somewhat dull finish. Minor imperfections commensurate with age are present. The case appears complete and upright. A glass panel covers the dial.
