Description
Peter Max (American, b. 1937), ‘Umbrella Man II (Flying Angel/ Profile)’, 2017, an etching with hand-coloring. The work is numbered 488/495 in the lower left margin and signed ‘MAX’ in the lower right margin. Additional lighter-colored profile sketches are present in the upper right and lower left margins, the latter accompanied by a circular embossed seal. The artwork is presented within a multi-layered mat and a decorative frame with a gold-toned and dark finish adorned with an ornate foliate design. The reverse is covered with black backing paper, equipped with a hanging wire, and features a white inventory label and a pink envelope. Two accompanying Certificates of Authenticity from Park West Gallery are present, confirming the artist, title, medium, and production year.
