Description
A 12-bore boxlock ejector side-by-side shotgun by Fred’k. T. Baker, 121 St. Swithin’s Lane, Finsbury, London, E.C. The firearm is constructed with blued steel barrels and a dark finished wooden stock featuring checkered grips. The bright metal receiver and side plates are intricately engraved with scrollwork. The top barrel rib is marked “FRED’K. T. BAKER. 121. ST. SWITHIN’S LANE. FINSBURY. LONDON. E.C.”. The barrel flats at the breech end display numerous proof marks, “CHOKE” indicators, and a pressure rating of “3 1/4 TONS PER SQ. INCH”, with the gauge confirmed as 12-bore and chambered for 70mm cartridges.
