A Japanese woodblock print (ukiyo-e) from the late Edo or early Meiji period, likely 19th century, depicting a dramatic scene of two male figures engaged in combat. The upper half of the composition features extensive Japanese calligraphic text, including a red-ground vertical title cartouche in the upper right.
