This item comprises a set of three traditionally bound volumes, titled “杜齋畫譜” (Tozai Gashu/Ga-pu) with respective volume indicators “上編” (Upper/First Part), “中編” (Middle Part), and “下編” (Lower/Last Part). Each volume features a textured black paper cover with a repeating pattern and a red title slip, along with a small gold-colored seal. The volumes are housed within a brown cloth-covered slipcase. Internally, the books contain numerous multi-color woodblock prints depicting diverse subjects including landscapes, human figures, mythological beings, animals, and botanical illustrations, alongside pages of printed Japanese text. Visible markings include sectional or page numbers, a colophon with printed names and a red seal impression, and an internal paper label with Japanese script within the slipcase.
