A Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock print triptych, likely dating from the late Edo or early Meiji period, rendered on paper. The prints depict scenes indicative of *Yokohama-e*, illustrating large sailing ships, steamships, a steam locomotive, and numerous figures, both Japanese and Western. A decorative cartouche with Japanese text, including “萬國蒸気船” (Steamships of All Nations) and “東海道” (Tōkaidō), is visible in the upper right of the rightmost panel.


Condition report:

The prints exhibit significant signs of age and wear, including faded colors, extensive creasing, tears, foxing, general discoloration, and surface grime. Pigment bleed-through is evident on the verso.
