A Japanese woodblock print on paper, executed in the Ukiyo-e style and likely dating to the late Edo or early Meiji period. The print depicts a dynamic harbor or bay scene, featuring numerous moored sailing vessels, a prominent celestial body over the water, and human figures engaged in activities along a shoreline with buildings. Visible markings on the obverse include Japanese characters within a red cartouche at the top center, vertical columns of Japanese text along the right edge, and a small character mark in the lower right corner.


Condition report:

Overall age-related toning and light discoloration to the obverse. The reverse shows more pronounced paper discoloration. A faint impression of the image is visible through the paper. Handwritten number \'7646\' in the lower left of the reverse. Two pieces of adhesive tape are present on the upper corners of the reverse.
