Description
A pair of Royal Mail First Day Covers, issued on May 17, 2023, celebrating the “Blackadder” television series. Each cover features a “FIRST DAY OF ISSUE CUNNINGSBURGH” postmark. The white paper envelopes bear an illustration of two “Blackadder” characters in military uniform, alongside the prominent text “BLACKADDER” and “I have a cunning plan.” Affixed to each are four commemorative postage stamps depicting various characters and scenes from the series across different historical periods, with denominations including £2.20, 1st, and 2nd class.
