Description
A group of four Royal Mail First Day Covers, each presenting a thematic series of British postage stamps and accompanying descriptive text. The covers commemorate key periods and legends of British history: ‘The Legend of King Arthur’ (issued 16.3.2021), ‘The Legend of Robin Hood’ (issued 13.4.2023), ‘The Wars of the Roses’, and ‘Viking Britain’ (issued 20.3.2024). The ‘Viking Britain’ cover specifically highlights archaeological artifacts and the historical impact ‘BETWEEN THE 8TH AND 11TH CENTURIES’.
