This lot features a pair of contemporary British Royal Mail First Day Covers (FDCs) with their original accompanying informational leaflets. The first FDC, themed ‘MIGRATORY BIRDS’, is postmarked “SHEFFIELD 27.4.2022” and displays a set of stamps with detailed photographic illustrations of various bird species, including Swallow, Turtle Dove, and Montagu’s Harrier. The second FDC, titled “RIVER WILDLIFE Royal Mail First Day Cover”, is postmarked “13.7.2023” and includes a set of stamps depicting aquatic fauna and flora such as Water Vole, Dipper, Brown Trout, Kingfisher, Otter, and Beaver.
