Description
A group of three Royal Mail British Christmas First Day Covers. Two covers are dated “Christmas 2023” and one is dated “Christmas 2022.” Each cover features multiple UK adhesive postage stamps depicting Christmas carols and nativity scenes, with visible QR codes and denominations including “ST,” “2ND,” “LARGE,” “£1.85,” “£2.00,” “£2.55,” and “£3.20.” Each item bears a circular postmark indicating “FIRST DAY OF ISSUE” (DIWRNOD CYNTAF in Welsh). The 2023 covers are postmarked “2.11.2023” from “Bethlehem, Llandeilo” and “Ackworth, Pontefract,” respectively. The 2022 cover is postmarked “3.11.2022” from “Bethlehem, Llandeilo.” The paper-based items are designed with a consistent theme of a starry night sky and radiating light. One of the “Christmas 2023” covers is an addressed envelope.
