Description
A collection of British philatelic items, comprising multiple First Day Covers and at least one commemorative presentation pack. The items celebrate British postal history and design, featuring various styles and periods of UK stamps. Included are a ‘UNITED KINGDOM A CELEBRATION’ First Day Cover with a ‘FIRST DAY OF ISSUE LONDON EC1 • 26.1.2021’ postmark, and at least two ‘100 Years of Commemorative Stamps’ First Day Covers, one with a ‘FIRST DAY OF ISSUE 1924 2024’ postmark, marking a centenary theme. A prominent item is a presentation pack titled ‘The Stamp Designs of David Gentleman,’ showcasing his diverse work from periods such as 1962, 1965, 1966, 1973, 1976, 1982, 1999, and copyrighted to ‘Royal Mail Group Ltd 2022.’ The pack features a black-and-white portrait of the designer.
