Description
A 2006 Royal Mint and Royal Mail Queen Elizabeth II 80th Birthday £5 Coin First Day Cover. This commemorative philatelic and numismatic presentation pack, issued in 2006, celebrates Queen Elizabeth II’s Eightieth Birthday. The light grey card folder, numbered “Nº 21011” and bearing the Royal Mint’s address, features a prominent “Celebrate” script alongside text “Her Majesty The Queen’s Eightieth Birthday” and a faint background image of the Queen. It contains a vertical strip of eight uncancelled British postage stamps, each displaying a black and white portrait of the Queen with denominations such as “1st,” “2nd,” and “44,” and marked “HM THE QUEEN – 80th BIRTHDAY,” “WINDSOR,” and “21.4.2006.” An embedded silver-tone coin, dated “2006,” shows a celebratory design with musical instruments and text including “ELIZABETH II D G REG F D 1926.”
