The album contains numerous clear plastic sleeves, each holding a philatelic first day cover featuring commemorative stamps, an illustrated envelope, and a circular postmark. The covers primarily date from the early 2000s, approximately 2003-2012. Visible themes include “Pond Life,” “Nobel Prizes,” “Christmas 2003,” “The Lord of the Rings,” “London 2012,” “Motorcycles,” and “Prince William.” Many covers bear the consistent address of “Mrs Susan Lane” in West Yorkshire. Some covers feature Welsh language, specifically “Cymru – Wales” and “Ywysog William.”
