Description
A vintage Dr. Kenneth S. Tydings ‘Instant-Reading Lens-Testing Chart, ‘ a specialized technical tool for evaluating photographic lenses. Likely dating from the mid-20th century (approximately 1950s-1970s), this large printed paper chart features numerous radial and linear resolution patterns, numerical indicators, and instructional text such as ‘RESOLUTION TESTING INSTRUCTIONS’ and ‘What To Expect From Your Lens, ‘ with mentions of ‘Kodak Plus-X’ film. The chart is mounted onto a rigid backing, possibly wood or particle board, exhibiting visible framing along some edges.
