Description
Victoria (1837-1901), silver Shilling, 1854, second young head left, type A3, plain truncation, legend VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITANNIAR: REG: F: D: toothed border around rim both sides, rev. ONE / SHILLING in two lines at centre of crowned laurel and oak wreath, date below, weight 5.67g (Bull 3004; Davies 868 dies 2+A; ESC 1302 R2; S.3904). Has been once cleaned, with a light overtone, some hairlines, otherwise extremely fine and very rare.
Condition report:
The Latin legends translates on obverse as Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith.
