g Edward VII (1901-10), gold Half-Sovereign, 1902, Coronation year, bare head right, De S. below truncation for engraver George W De Saulles, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, EDWARDVS VII D: G: BRITT: OMN: REX F:D: IND: IMP:, rev. St George slaying the dragon with sword, date in exergue, 3.96g (Hill 505; Bull EGC 1417; MCE 630; S 3974A). Toned with circulation wear, almost very fine.
Condition report:
The Latin legend on the obverse translates as Edward the Seventh, by the grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India.
