St George slaying the dragon with sword, broken lance to lower left, date in exergue with B.P. designer initials for designer Benedetto Pistrucci, 3.97g (Hill 510; Bull EGC 1426; M.C.E. 636; S 3974B). Toned with some wear to high points, very fine.
Condition report:
The Latin legend on the obverse translates as Edward the Seventh, by the grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India.
