g George V (1910-36), gold proof Five Pounds, Two Pounds, Sovereign, Half-Sovereign, 1911, Coronation year, bare head left, B.M. on truncation for engraver Bertram Mackennal, legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX F. D. IND: IMP: rev. St George slaying the dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue, edge milled (Hill F38, T44, 213A, 526A; S.3994, 3995, 3996, 4006). A nice quartet of the Coronation issue, all with light red tone and graded by CGS UK as 85 for the two senior denominations and 88 for the lesser two.
