BRITT: OMN: REX F.D. IND: IMP:, rev. St. George slaying the dragon right, WWP under lance, mint mark SA at centre of ground-line, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue for designer Benedetto Pistrucci, 7.98g (Bentley 925; Kaplan 105; Hill 292; Bull EGC 1923; S.4004). Scratch on neck and longer V shape one in obverse field, otherwise extremely fine.
Condition report:
Calendar year mintage 18,235,057. The Latin legend translates as George the Fifth by the Grace of God, King of the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India.
