DEF, letter ‘U’ in circle under throne, rev. crowned Shield of the Royal Arms upon a double Rose, all within inner circle, outside legend ANNIVERSARY OF THE GOLD SOVEREIGN 1489-1989, 40.05g (S.E6A). Mint state with some residue to outer legends and faint haze to fields, accompanied by original Royal Mint box and Certificate of Authenticity.
