g Elizabeth II (1952-2022), gold proof Two Pounds, 2007, struck to commemorate the Tercentenary of the Act of Union between England and Scotland, crowned head right in 22 carat yellow gold inner with 22 carat red gold surround, IRB initials below for designer Ian Rank-Broadley, Latin legend surrounding, ELIZABETH II. DEI. GRA. REG. FID. DEF. rev. by Yvonne Holton a design dividing the coin into four quarters, with a rose and a thistle occupying two of the quarters, and a portcullis in each of the other two quarters, overlaid with a linking jigsaw motif and surrounded by the dates ‘1707’ and ‘2007’ and the denomination ‘TWO POUNDS’, edge inscription ‘ UNITED INTO ONE KINGDOM’ , 15.97g (S.K22). Scratches to obverse field, accompanied by Royal Mint box and Certificate of Authenticity.
