g William IV (1830-37), gold proof Two Pounds, 1831, bare head right, W.W. incuse on truncation, GULIELMUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F: D:, toothed border around rim both sides, rev. inverted die axis, shield of arms with a crowned escutcheon of the arms of Hanover, upon crowned mantle with ermine robe and Order of the Garter, ANNO 1831 below, edge plain (W.R.258; Hill T20; Bull EGC 1016; S.3828). Toned with multiple hairlines, some scuffs and nicks both sides, has been graded and slabbed by CGS UK as EF70.

CGS UK certification 19300 - DS.W4.1831.01.The Latin legends translate on obverse as William IV by the Grace of God, King of the Britons, Defender of the Faith, and on the reverse In the year 1831.
