A modern commemorative special edition ephemera card produced to honour the service of Royal Air Force veterans. The card is dedicated to the Avro Lancaster and No. 576 Squadron RAF, featuring the squadron’s motto, Seize the opportunity. It is personally hand-signed in black ink by Flight Sergeant Harry Parkins, designated F/E for Flight Engineer. No. 576 Squadron was a notable heavy bomber unit operating out of Lincolnshire during the Second World War. The item is in excellent, near-mint condition. The paper remains bright white with no signs of foxing, yellowing, or staining. There are no visible tears, creases, or edge wear. The signature is bold and well-preserved. Currently housed in a clear protective plastic sleeve.
