Description
A commemorative Special Edition card dedicated to the Avro Lancaster heavy bomber and the personnel of No. 550 Squadron, Royal Air Force. This piece is hand-signed in black ink by Flying Officer Vic Farmer, a veteran who served with the unit during the European theatre of operations in the Second World War. No. 550 Squadron operated out of RAF North Killingholme as part of No. 1 Group, Bomber Command, and is well-regarded for its significant contribution to the strategic bombing campaign. The card features the squadron’s motto, Through fire we conquer, and includes printed verification of the signature’s authenticity.
