Description
This is a modern special edition commemorative card hand-signed in black ink by Flight Lieutenant Jack Sherburn, DFC. The card honours the Hawker Hurricane aircraft and its operational history with No. 11 Operational Training Unit (OTU) of the South African Air Force during the Second World War. Jack Sherburn was a distinguished veteran who served as an instructor at No. 11 OTU, training pilots in the use of the Hurricane. Condition report:
The card is in excellent condition. The white cardstock is bright and clean with no visible foxing, staining, or discolouration. There are no tears, pinholes, or folds. The item is currently housed in a protective plastic sleeve.
