This is a modern commemorative collector card issued as a tribute to the Royal Air Force (RAF) personnel who operated the de Havilland Mosquito during the Second World War. The card is a Special Edition specifically honouring No. 163 Squadron. It features the original hand-signed signature of Flying Officer Charles Parker, DFM, in blue ink. No. 163 Squadron was part of the Light Night Striking Force of No. 8 Group (Pathfinders), flying Mosquito B.XVI and B.XXV aircraft on high-speed bombing raids over Germany. Charles Parker was awarded the Distinguished Flying Medal (DFM) for his gallantry and devotion to duty. The card is printed on heavy-weight semi-gloss white cardstock with a decorative blue double-line border. Text includes: DE HAVILLAND MOSQUITO, No. 163 Squadron Royal Air Force, Flying Officer C. Condition report:

The item is in excellent, near-mint condition. The cardstock remains bright white with no evidence of foxing, yellowing, or staining. The corners are sharp and free of bumping. There are no folds, tears, or structural defects. The signature is bold and well-preserved. Currently housed in a protective plastic sleeve.
