Description
This is a signed special edition commemorative card featuring the Hawker Typhoon aircraft and No. 197 Squadron of the Royal Air Force. No. 197 Squadron was a notable ground-attack unit during the Second World War, particularly during the liberation of Northwest Europe between 1944 and 1945. The card, produced in the late 20th or early 21st century for collectors, features the squadron motto, You will find us in the skies. It is hand-signed in black ink by veteran Flying Officer J. Condition report:
The card is in excellent, near-mint condition. The white cardstock remains bright and clean, showing no signs of foxing, staining, or yellowing. There are no visible creases, tears, or folds, and the corners and edges are sharp. The item is currently housed in a protective clear plastic sleeve.
