A modern Special Edition commemorative card dedicated to the Hawker Hurricane and No. 41 Operational Training Unit (OTU) of the Royal Air Force. The item features the authentic hand-signed signature of Flight Lieutenant David H.G. Ince, DFC, in black ink. David Ince (1921–2017) was a distinguished WWII fighter pilot, primarily recognised for his service flying Typhoons with 193 and 257 Squadrons, and for his extensive post-war contributions to the British gliding movement. This card commemorates his service training on and flying the Hurricane. The card is printed with a double-line blue border and contains the following text: HAWKER HURRICANE / No. 41 Operational Training Unit / Royal Air Force / Flight Lieutenant D.H.G. Ince DFC / This Special Edition card has been personally signed by a Veteran who flew the Hawker Hurricane while serving with No. 41 Operational Training Unit in Europe. 152mm x 102mm.
