Description

This is a modern Special Edition commemorative card produced to honour the veterans of the Second World War. The card focuses on the Hawker Hurricane aircraft and No. 17 Squadron of the Royal Air Force. It features the hand-signed autograph of Flight Lieutenant A.J. Nat Gould of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) in black ink. Gould was a veteran pilot who served with No. 17 Squadron in Europe during the conflict. The card includes the squadron motto, Strive to excel, and a printed authentication statement which reads: This Special Edition card has been personally signed by a Veteran who flew the Hawker Hurricane while serving with No 17 Squadron in Europe.
